Commissioning Day
The Commissioning Day Ceremony kicks off the boating season for Monomoy Yacht Club. When the weather is good, the Commodores use the deck to officially open the boating season and to recognize those members who have “crossed the bar” in the past year. The Cannon is fired and the short ceremony is followed by free refreshments in the clubhouse. Be sure to register your plans to attend. (Registration is by email, after an announcement of the event is sent out by the Club).

The Commissioning Day Ceremony officially opens the 2024 boating season. The Commodore recognizes those members who have "crossed the bar" in the past year, followed by a short ceremony and address.
Refreshments will be served. In order to plan for quantities, we ask that members who plan to attend please register using the button in the Club's email. |
